We begin by identifying pain triggers, and breaking the pain cycle so that the soft tissues of the body can heal, engage, and form new movement patterns.

As a prey animal, horses often have chronic “fight or flight” patterns deeply embedded in their nervous systems. By removing interference from the body’s major communication pathways with chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture sessions, a horse’s body can then seek homeostasis.

From there, postural correction- focusing on alignment, core stability, and a strong base (correct trimming and shoeing). Our patient-centered rehabilitation plans focus on your horse’s unique needs with the goal of improving stability, flexibility, and proprioception to help prevent injury.

This is a process that usually involves with other  industry professionals-whether that is your farrier for changes in shoeing or trimming needs, reviewing current or past imaging & diagnostics from your regular veterinarian, discussing fitness plans and exercises with your trainer, or ensuring nutrition is optimized for maximal healing and overall wellbeing.
